Cor Blimey, What A Year!

Hello All!!

So sorry it's been such a loooooong time since I last wrote!

Since the tour finished in October I've mostly been wrapped up in my beach pod writing songs. As well as writing alone, I've also had the pleasure of making music with some awesome people including Alan Glass, Loz Bridge, Wise Children and Tom Greenwood and Ben Hollingsworth from up-and-coming band Cossacks. I was also recently invited to perform as part of The Driftwood Sessions Christmas Special at The Elgin in Notting Hill thanks to the wonderful brothers Tom and Dom Moriarty. What a superb evening it was- Christmas dinner, wine and lots and lots of great music. Thank you so much for having us!

This year has been a whirlwind- I can't believe how quickly it's gone. So much has happened it's unbelievable- I've completed 3 UK tours, written with some outstanding songwriters and collaborated with some amazing artists. On top of this, I've been fortunate enough to establish relationships which I hope will last a very long time. Most importantly, I hope I've managed to connect with a few more people through my music.

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me in some way; as i'm sure you all know, starting out as an artist isn't the easiest or most plain sailing of career choices. When people turn up to my gigs or buy my CDs or sign my mailing list it makes such a difference. It's what it's all about and I wouldn't change what I'm doing for the world.

Next year let's hope I can just continue doing what I love- writing new songs, meeting new people and playing in new places. And maybe one day I'll be lucky enough to be able to thank those who believed in me and have given me the freedom and support to be creative and follow my dream. Until then, your sofas are greatly appreciated! ;)

I wish you all a wonderful Christmas and an excellent start to 2012.

Lots and lots of love to you all.
